No St Lucia is not a U.S State or Territory. You will need a valid passport to travel to this country.
The local currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted. Credit cards are also commonly used at resorts and major establishments.
St. Lucia uses Type G electrical outlets, the same as the United Kingdom. The standard voltage is 240V. If you're traveling from the U.S. or Canada, you may need a power adapter and voltage converter.
Most major U.S., Canadian, and international cell carriers provide coverage in St. Lucia, but roaming charges may apply. Check with your provider about international plans or roaming fees before your trip. Alternatively, you can use Wi-Fi calling or purchase a local SIM card upon arrival for better rates. Wi-Fi is also available at most hotels and resorts, including Windjammer Landing.

In St. Lucia, people drive on the left side of the road. If you plan to rent a car, be prepared for winding mountain roads and driving conditions that may be different from what you're used to!
The official language is English, though Saint Lucian Creole (Kwéyòl) is also spoken by locals.
St. Lucia operates on Atlantic Standard Time (AST), which is one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST) and does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
